@KirkCEO: #ThingsImNotSorryFor

For Mr. Mellonhead

  1. HAHAHAHAHAHA, “Writing incomprehensible, rambling, self-laudatory blog posts.” It took me awhile to be willing to label them that way. Everyone made such obeisance to him as if he were The Prophet, The Enlightened One. Anyone who disagreed with some part of his posts were immediately labeled as “trolls” or those dastardly “pre-mills” or “fool” to which no one should respond. I would read a post several times trying to comprehend it, put some order to his disorder, and think surely I was misunderstanding the motive in his self-praise. How do people become this way? Believing themselves so high and others so low that they dismiss critics with “I’m sorry, but I’m not sorry.”

    As for being “incomprehensible”, Those of the One-Doug-Said-It-Was-True Way would just say that he was so brilliant with his way with words and intellect. Then I looked over the college and the merchandise, etc. and saw how much was “in-family” “scholarship”. Again, accountable to no one but themselves.

    In light of all of this, I just reread the qualifications of an elder. I’m having a hard time seeing even one that he meets. Maybe the “one woman man” but given his creepiness about women, one wonders. Yet He assumes and is given so much power and praise. Did anyone say “control” and “cult”, yet?

    1. He’s mini-Trump. “I’m successful, I’ll fight for you, good people love me, my opponents are dopey losers with small hands, here’s a picture of my beautiful family, thank you for coming. Vote Doug on Tuesday and we’ll make Moscow great again, believe me.”

    2. 😀 Yes, I think he’s so opposed to Trump because he’s so jealous.
      And so as he said of Trump today, I say of him:
      “Now I trust that by this time my lack of enthusiasm for all things [Dougie] has been made evident to all. When he says crazy things, I take issue, and when he says sane things, I don’t believe him. I don’t trust him.”

    3. And perhaps in vigorously opposing Trump he is trying to steer at least some of those offended by Trump away from thinking, “Who does this guy running for President remind me of?” or else “Oh, okay. If he were like his critics say he likely wouldn’t be saying these things about DT.” On the other hand, I can picture people who like Doug’s Trump-likeness being confused and/or disappointed by Doug’s take on Trump. But if so many of them can shrug off the Sitler and Wight situations, why not that as well?
