But we cannot make gravity disappear just because we dislike it, and in the same way we find that our banished authority and submission comes back to us in pathological forms. This is what lies behind sexual ‘bondage and submission games,’ along with very common rape fantasies. Men dream of being rapists, and women find themselves wistfully reading novels in which someone ravishes the ‘soon to be made willing’ heroine. Those who deny they have any need for water at all will soon find themselves lusting after polluted water, but water nonetheless.

Reading this in context reminded me of the “egalitarian pleasure party” nonsense. In 1 Corinthians 7:4, Paul (but what does he know compared to Doug Wilson) wrote specifically regarding the marriage bed: “For the wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. Likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.”
Funny, sounds a hell of a lot like an egalitarian pleasure party to me.
I’d say he’s an ass, but we’re waaaaaayyyyyyyy past that.
This quote follows the egalitarian one. It’s all one thought.
Never saw that.
Mercy.
The real question here is: Who does Doug Wilson dream of raping? He is indisputably guilty by his own generalized admission.
@Dash — You are dead right:
“Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.” (Matthew 12:34)
His mouth is an open grave of rape, adulteries, murder, slander, hatred, theft, false accusation — it’s a never-ending fountain of raw sewage spilling out of his living & written corpus. He projects his filthy imaginations onto others and decrees it as accepted science. It should read “Doug Wilson dreams raping women who wistfully read novels in which someone ravishes the ‘soon to be made willing’ heroine.” He said it and he should own it, instead of staining all of mankind with the rot of his perversions.
Is there any wonder why his followers act like brute beasts? Is there any wonder why he defends them?
