KRFP Radio Free Moscow Interviews a Former Kirker

“But wisdom is justified of all her children.” Luke 7:35

This is an incredibly valuable interview that I have shamelessly cut from Radio Free Moscow. KFRP Radio interviews the daughter of James Urquidez, who is a kirker that ran (and lost) for Moscow City Council. Her name is Pris Urquidez. The interview took place on October 31. The cause was a Facebook post (quoted below) from October 26.

She gives us an insider’s look into the social dynamics animating the cult. She peppers all her answers with concise observations such as this: “It’s very much this closed circuit — it’s why it’s very hard to escape. And then once you escape, it’s very scary because you see how controlled their route is. . .”

Twenty years from now, long after Pastor Doug Wilson of Christ Church in Moscow, Idaho, has gone to his own place, historians will listen to this tape and others like it to learn what happened. This is tantamount to an interview with a Jonestown survivor. I applaud Pris Urquidez for her courage and wish her the best.

KRFP On the Palouse

Hello. Please read. Please vote for City Council on November 5th or earlier, and please for the love for all that is holy and unholy do not vote for my father, James Urquidez. He was my verbal and psychological abuser for most of my life alongside the oppressive community abuse of the Christian church and electing him by voting for him or electing him by not voting for anyone is the wrong choice. I promise you, please believe me when I say he will f Moscow in the ass more than it already has been with the combined might of NSA, Emsi, Christ Church, Trinity, Logos, etc., behind him. I don’t usually make posts like this dragging my baggage into the open and I hate asking people to make choices on politics when I’m just one person, but I can’t sit by and not say any . . . and not say something when I feel directly threatened by this. Please vote Kelly, Laflin, Zabala, if you can, but at the very least do not vote Urquidez.

PS: I anyone wants to post this anywhere on their social media, feel free to do so. —Pris Urquidez
