  1. All pastors teach their congregants about abuse in one way or another. The language he uses about women will either validate or challenge an abuser.

Douglas Wilson, Pope and Presiding Minister of the CREC, constantly justifies and condones abuse with his degradation of women:

“pushy broads, twinkies in tight tops, or waifs with manga eyes”
    “Small breasted biddies”
    “Lumberjack dykes”
“her breasts as fine a pair as DuPont could make them”
“smash the patriarchy feminism — wants us to be ruled by harridans, termagants, harpies and crones”

Add to that his constant harping on his deviant interpretation of a woman’s role in life — to be submissive, obedient and quiet, like a good dog — and you have the perfect Petri dish for a denomination that cultivates abuse and perversion.

Add to that an entire denomination of ruling men who do NOTHING to shut the man up and the environment goes toxic.
