This is all we know so far:
“A new Anglican church is coming to Moscow, Idaho! Discover how the ancient faith can transform lives in the 21st Century.” — Christ the King
But we also know that you will find safety in the Thirty-nine Articles and liturgy in the Book of Common Prayer. Consider these burial prayers:
“FORASMUCH as it hath pleased Almighty God, in his wise providence, to take out of this world the soul of our deceased brother, we therefore commit his body to the ground; earth to earth, ashes to ashes, dust to dust; looking for the general Resurrection in the last day, and the life of the world to come, through our Lord Jesus Christ; at whose second coming in glorious majesty to judge the world, the earth and the sea shall give up their dead; and the corruptible bodies of those who sleep in him shall be changed, and made like unto his own glorious body; according to the mighty working whereby he is able to subdue all things unto himself.” (THE BURIAL OF THE DEAD.)
“We therefore commit his body to the deep, looking for the general Resurrection in the last day, and the life of the world to come, through our Lord Jesus Christ; at whose second coming in glorious majesty to judge the world, the sea shall give up her dead; and the corruptible bodies of those who sleep in him shall be changed, and made like unto his glorious body; according to the mighty working where by he is able to subdue all things unto himself.” (At the Burial of the Dead at Sea.)
God-fearing confession. God-honoring liturgy. And godly language. We’ll watch for updates.
