We have a batch of new court records in the Steven Sitler archive because Team Sitler has motioned the Court to allow the serial pedophile back into his home, to live with his wife and 1 ½-year-old child. We have added the following documents:
- A progress letter to Sitler’s probation officer from his psychotherapists
- A proposed “Safety Plan” from Sitler’s psychotherapists

That poor, defenseless child. The whole situation makes me physically ill.
Is there an alternative universe where it makes sense for this man to be back at home with his child? In this real world, one can see the disaster looming if his request is approved. Where is there consideration for the good of the child over the wants of a child molester?
I also have to call out Katie Sitler for agreeing to this. She’s no longer a naive young woman. She’s been in counseling to be a “chaperone” and must by this time understand the very real risk to her son and clearly understand the extent of her husband’s psychopathology. Would she turn in her husband to authorities if Sitler had a “slip” or run off to Doug Wilson for advice? I’m seeing her as being culpable in enabling the sexual abuse of her son. Harsh? Yes, but she knowingly married a child molester, and had a child with him. Now the highest good of the child is the consideration.
Agree, Dash, my heart aches for this poor child.
