Every unprincipled vote, offerred to the bitch goddess of the state on the left, or the bitch goddess of pragmatism on the soft right, or the bitch goddess of ideology on the libertarian right, was simply thrown away. Professing Christians who voted for Obama were either confusedly or rebelliously heaping up judgment for all of us. Christians on the right who voted for Romney for no other reason than that he was ‘electable’ found out that he was not as electable as all that. And Christians who voted for absolute ideological purity (which is, remember, a form of impurity) found out that that kind of purity wasn’t in the running.

Very wordsmithy.
There’s a kind of poetic suckitude to Doug Wilson’s ramblings that is in fact amusing, but for all the wrong reasons. Sort of like the inebriated word salad of a crazy homeless man on a street corner who has imbibed a little too much Muscatel and now thinks himself to be waxing eloquent like William Shakespeare, when in reality it sounds more like Donald Duck.
Dash sometimes makes me laugh out loud. This is one of those times.
I think I’ve developed a real knack for parodying Doug’s “wordsmithy” style, based on a grammatical analysis (which I conducted under the influence of several glasses of wine) of the more repetititive features of his content. There’s a distinct pattern and rhythm to it.
Doug’s rhetoric is a predictable sort of conscious juxtaposition of 2-3 faux-sacred phrases punctuated by a regular interruption of 1-2 genuine-profane phrases. I’m pretty sure he has an actual programmatic template that he refers to for everything he writes. If I was any good at coding, I could write a bot to do it for me. In fact, I may tap one of my programmer friends to help me create such a bot, just to prove that Doug Wilson gives no actual thought to anything he writes and is simply provoking finely honed outrage via an autopilot form of writing that allows him to easily crank out one crappy essay after another with zero intellectual engagement.
All of which, of course, is merely a huge smokescreen to cover for his much darker actual agenda, which is to create a sort of “Christian” ISIS in Moscow and acclimate the residents to all manner of depravity and violent perversion as a normative lifestyle, including polygamy, rape, and the sexual abuse of children. I’m certain of it.
It seems that writing is a process of vile catharsis for Wilson. I cannot help but think that beneath his words there lies venomous retribution.
Three mentions of “bitch goddesses” and not one mention of boobs. Wow. What’s up with that?
