First, here are a few similarities between Donald Trump & Douglas Wilson:
- Both call themselves reformers.
- Both are successful con men.
- Both claim dictatorial powers.
- Both disdain the Christian gospel.
- Both tell lies at the drop of a hat.
- Both oppose First Amendment rights, except for themselves.
- Both suffer from malignant cases of NPD.
- Both are pompous blowhards who speak without thought.
- Both smear, defame, and abuse their opponents without regard for the truth.
- Both are greedy lechers.
- Both treat women like their personal chattels, when they’re not degrading them.
Here is Melania Trump describing traits she finds admirable in her husband, which highlights a difference between he and Mr. Wilson:
“As you may know by now, when you attack him, he will punch back ten times harder. . . . No matter who you are, a man or a woman, he treats everyone equal. He’s a fighter and if you elect him to be your president, he will fight for you and for our country. He will work for you and with you, and together we will make America strong and great again. Thank you.”
According to his wife, Donald Trump punches “back ten times harder”; whereas Pastor Douglas Wilson of Christ Church, Moscow, only punches “back twice as hard”:
“Jesus tells us that when we are struck on one cheek, we are to turn the other. The apostle Paul teaches us to punch back twice as hard. Furthermore, there is no contradiction. If there is apparent contradiction, we are not to try to resolve it through ignoring half of the evidence.”
Either way, both men admit they’re vindictive, though only one claims biblical warrant. And for what it’s worth, Doug Wilson regularly describes himself as a “fighter.” The reader may decide for whom he fights.
Or for whom he fights…
@Wayne — Thank you.
You also have the title as “A Difference *d*etween”.

Been wiped out with some long hours.
And Wayne, I’m knocking you down a few points for missing this.
Hey, even I miss things that late at night!
