  2. If Doug considered Steven Sitler to be “a dangerous man,” why would he, in his own words, be “glad” to marry Katie Travis to him? A shepherd’s job is to protect the sheep, not put them in danger. And now that they have a child, the child is also in danger. And Doug knew that could happen.

    I simply don’t get it.

      Worse, he prayed for it to happen:
